What with all the snow and soft ice everywhere, decided to give Willow Pond a try yesterday. Got there rather late in the day, not much action but guess what?! Somehow lost my BELOVED favorite fishing pole. I could have sworn I did remember to put it in the car, but it was not there today when I opened my trunk. I guess I may have somehow forgot to grab it. What upsets me the most is that I'm usually always careful to the extent of paranoia......I triple check I've got everything before I take off. Further this pole has tremendous sentimental value, I caught many many fish on it over like 17 years using this same pole. It is an ugly stick......if anyone just happened to see it.....PLEASE let me know!!!! Thanks a bunch! I'm at the verge of tears![Sad]

[#0000ff]Bummer. WORSE than losing a family member. Maybe a Christmas miracle will happen and you will find it.[/#0000ff]

I fished Willow pond yesterday. Sorry I didn't see any extra poles laying around.

I thought the fishing was ok. There was a guy next to me fishing with salmon eggs below a bobber. The fish were biting as soon as the hook hit the water. He was having trouble hooking them. But he did land several.

I stuck with flies behind a water filled bubble and landed 14 rainbows and two browns. The browns and a couple of the rainbows were around 14-15".

Thanks for the support you guys.....yeah, I'll admit almost cried....lol. But as for the fishing.....I got there when it was close to dark so didn't do much fishing. Yeah, I'll need a christmas miracle for sure...hehehehe. Who knows maybe some "local" found it and decided it's finders keepers. Can't really blame them.....my own fault for being stupid for once in my life. Well, been stupid here and there when I was a kid....lol. Sometimes I'm too trusting too.
ss on the loss of the pole, iF i see it i will surely return it!! oh im still looking for my custom rod in willard fish attached and it has my name on it,,BFT members are good bunch of guys and gals..
