Went out today still thin ice but spent an hour and a half at 12:00 until 1:30 then went back at 4:00 until 5:30 and all together I caught 28 whities it was fun to get into that action again

You weren't the one at Lindon boat harbor were you? I drove by a little past one this afternoon and saw someone was ice fishing. Kind of a wierd thing to see someone on the ice and open water at the mouth of the same harbor. How big were the bass?

it depends there was one other guy there then there was me so i guess you caught me i caught 6 13" whities and 2 14" whities the rest were the typical average size i do have a couple of pictures that i need someone to help me get them on all i have is webtv so i cannot load them on the internet so if anyone can help please let me know

Welcome to the boards.
How thick was the ice. I'd like to head down saturday but not real fond of thin ice being 6'6" and 300# and wanting to bring my 5 year old with me I have no desire to go through the ice.

[cool]Thanks for the report, jkanamu and welcome to BFT's Utah board. 28 fish in 3 hours of ice fishing is not to shabby, especially with the size of those whities! Way to get 'r done! I really want to hit that area soon. Might hit the harbor Christmas day after my kids open their presents and head to the ex-in laws...

went out again this afternoon at 3:00 and left at 6:00 i am going out to get a final count but i think i caught them all between me and the other BFTer i met out there tonght (sorry i could not remember name) but between me and him i think that we caught them all j/k
any ways i will post again the final total and hopefully tomorrow i can add some pictures

I was at Lindon Boat Harbor between noon and 1:15 today (12/20) with my wife. We fished right next to the end of the dock, but we didn't have any luck. I'd like to know what the guys who report catching so many white bass were using or doing. I tried sonars, little tube jigs (in various colors), paddle bugs, etc. but I didn't get even a nibble.
