[#0000ff][/#0000ff]Scofield Fishing Derby The First Annual Scofield Fishing Derby is Dec. 30 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sponsored by Utah State Parks and Recreation, the derby is limited to 49 anglers. Prizes will be awarded for the top three largest fish. Check-in is 6:30 to 8 a.m. at the Scofield Madsen Bay parking area. Registration is required and there is a $10 entry fee. Thanks Pat, I justed signed up for me and my buddy. You just have to call that number and the Ranger will explain everything. There will be gift certificates to Cabeles for the three longest fish. They will be serving hot dogs and hot chocolate at lunch time and will also be giving out door prizes. The Parks dept was too late filing for the tourney with Wildlife Resources so they are limited to $500 in prizes. Thus the 49 person max entrants. Next year they are planning on a much bigger tourney!
