Hit Strawberry in the morning with my brother and boy. Drove over to the lodge in hopes of finding safe ice on by edge. Wishfull thinking put aside we went back to Mud creek. Pretty slow day for most of the people I talked with. We managed 12 and called it a day. Anything white tipped with meat seemed to work but no magic bullet today. Fishcrazy as always it was nice to see you again.

Home for a bite to eat, check the board for new info and off to hit Utah lake. A lot more people at Lindon boat harbor then when I drove by Tuesday. The word seems to be out and so were the people. Watched several BFTers catch some nice white bass but no luck in our area. A invite to move by a fellow BFTer and we found the fish which seem to move often. When we were on a school the most important thing was to have your jig in the water. When not on a school didn't seem to matter what you had in the water. Everyone I talked with caught fish and seemed to be using something differnt. I think between the three of us we landed about 25 in two hours. Watch out for thin ice in places. The porcupine by the gate is not big on having his picture taken.

Then home to watch the cougars embarrass some ducks. Not a bad day.

[cool]Not a bad day INDEED, spyder! Good job spanking those fishies, and how 'bout 'dem Cougs, eh? Looks like we're back. Hey, I'm going to hit Lindon on Christmas Day in the p.m. Shouldn't be too many folks on it that day I imagine. If there is, I'll just go over to another spot where the bluegill, crappie and largie bite is on right now...I'd really like to get some whities though, so hopefully Lindon won't be crowded...

Do they charge to get into Lindon this time of year? and do you know what time they open the gate or is it left open?

Hey thanks for putting me in sideways there bro. You forgot to label Fishcrazy in your pic though. Can anyone find him? He is in one of the pics and was there. Not the coldest day at the berry but cold enough to have to break ice every few minutes.

At the marina itself the short answer is no. The little edges by the campgrounds and before you get to the ramp yes but not much. Lots of open water. As cold as it was yesterday it shouldn't take all that long though.

Fishnpro40 they do charge during the winter. I think it's $5 for a car and $2 to walk in. The harbor is frozen but parts have thin ice so watch where you step.
