It's that time of year when I wax a little nostalgic and go digging through old photos from throughout the last 12 months.
This year has been amazing. I drove several thousand miles on the highways, byways, backways, and dirt roads of Utah in search of the state's best campgrounds. I didn't take nearly as many photos as I should have, nor did I spend a lot of time setting up really good shots.
What I do have, though, are some great snapshots to remind me of the adventures of '06, and inspiration to spend the rest of my life exploring in detail the sites I visited this year. My Utah outdoors to-do list is now 13,528 feet long.
Here are some higlights from my photo folders. Truth be told, I've got thousands more photos of red rock country, national parks, state parks, west desert, and everything inbetween. I've only included a small sampling of the photos most pertinent to us fishers.
I know there are several shutterbugs on this site--so I wanna see where everyone else spent 2006. Fish pics, lake pics, trail pics, gear pics, embarassing pics, nose picks--Post 'em up!

Didn't have my pole and the fish were ROCKING the surface. D'oh!
