Went down to huntington today. Had a blast pulling those tigers thru the ice all morning. There was about a foot of snow on the ice and maybe a foot of ice. Glad I took my snowshoes to get down to the lake. Never caught anything over 16 inches but had 26 for the day and jtkilla had 15 (all tiger trout).

We got down there late (8 am) and stayed till 1:30. The fish quit biting so we went home instead of drilling more holes looking for them.

Didn't seem to matter what we used as long as it was an ice jig tipped with meat. We used mostly mealworms, but caught a few on nightcrawlers.
Sounds like another fun day on Huntington. Any slush?

Yes, there was a little bit of slush under the snow.
Last time I encountered slush at Huntington, I would not have descirbed it as "a little bit of slush", so you were fortunate.
