I hit Causey with djremo, petty, elkoholic, my step dad, and all of our kids this morning at 8 am. Fishing was slow for a long while. I caught a koke and a few tigers and splake and the others had a few tigers and splake. About the time Jason and travis left the kokes came in by the bajillions! We left at 2 pm and had caught 30 kokes, 8 tigers, 5 splake, and a nice bow. They were everywhere in the water column for 2 hours. They hit everything we put down the holes. What a beautiful day and good company. The ice was about 5" but the edges were a little rotten. You had to step about 4' out to hit solid ice. Pics after i get the other camera.

Hit Causey today also with my neighbor and my 5 year old son. Met elkoholic and seen Petty for the 2nd day in a row. Thanks for the stickers and the advice on the ice shanty. Beautiful day again and the fishing was slow until about 145 and we could not keep the kokes off. Everything was great until my son decided to step in a ice hole while pulling in a fish. Got him into shanty with the heater and hurried up and caught our limit and headed home. Non-stop action and we limited out in about 15 minutes. Fun morning!

I could feel them coming so I figured I would leave so I didn't school you on catching them. JK, It figures that they would come trough after I left. Company was good but the catching was not there for me. Guess I'll try it again later in the week. It was nice to meet a couple of you new guys out there.
