Went to the boat ramp. Ice 3-4", slush on top. Fishing was slow, bite light. Best was a chartreuse with meal or wax worm. Saw some fishing the dam; reported ice was 4", they tried 1 1/2 hours with only 2 bites.

How deep is the slush?

How was the road back to the ramp?

Sorry to hear about you lack of success. That lake has been good to me the last 3 years. Love it up there. Hopefully the bite improves.

That's a little discouraging. I have been waiting for a report from there. Hopefully the fishing heats up, and the weather gets colder. [Smile]

IS THE WHOLE LAKE COVERED IN ICE?

Sorry so late for a reply. The slush was about 1-2" deep. Road to the boat ramp was passible in my corolla (snow packed). There is about 1/2 of the lake that is open water. The dam area and some of the inlets are frozen. It looked worse from the road than it was out on the ice. We were cautious at first, but even the edges held up (beter that at Causey). Caution is advised with the additional warm weather.

If anyone is going up to lost creek this weekend I would love to get a report. I am thinking of heading up there Monday with some friends. Also, does anyone know how the conditions are at Pineview or East Canyon resevoirs?? I might take our little girl so I would like to find the place that is having the best luck. Thanks for the help.

A guy I work with drove by Pineview and told me that people are ice fishing there. He had no idea if they were having any success.
