Went up to East Canyon yesterday with my oldest boy. Fished the bay between hiways 65 & 66. Got there about 8 and left before noon. We caught a total of 4 'bows on white tube jigs with pink power bait and wax worms. Smallest was 10", biggest was about 16". Fished in about 30 feet. After there, we headed over to Pineview to try for some perch. Fished the narrows and managed to ice 1 perch about 8", not bad for the first time ever perch fishing. Only stayed about 2 hours.
By the way, does anyone have any plans/blueprints for a homemade iceshack? The little so called "2-man" ice shack I have just isn't quite big enough especially when my youngest boy wants to go fishing also.
