A friend went up to Ocean last week with his B-inlaw and they caught 6 walleye between three and five pounds using minnows on tip ups. It's a long way from Utah but if your into the walleye now is the time to go. I went up last year in the middle of Jan and it had slowed down. However, the perch fishing on Boysen was outstanding. Better than Rockport because you get more perch and bigger perch. Ocean and Boysen are both six rod lakes for winter fishing. Most people use tip ups. I might venture up there this winter for some perch fishing and will let you folks know how it goes.

I've been to Boysen. Where is Ocean Lake and how does it compare to Boysen?

Ocean lake is a little west of Boysen and much smaller. It usually freezes earlier and thicker than Boysen. It's easy to find from Riverton.
