Well, I'm back at the office again....wondering when I'll get the next opportunity to head out to Mead again.
The 4 Day Trip (12/26 - 12/29) was excellent. Fishing was excellent. The weather....not so excellent. Lots of wind, some rain, and a ton of cold air. Thankfully, the houseboat operated perfectly. The heater kept us warm at night...as well as the huge bonfires we lit when the hurricane-like winds weren't blowing.
More details and pics to come. Yes, including pics of the fish "I" caught. There were five of us on the boat but only I fished. What a shame...but I can't blame them. "Fish in the freezing cold on the back of a houseboat" or "stay warm by huge bonfires that could rival the night lights of Vegas"??? I chose the first option. They chose the latter. I'm glad I decided to go on this trip. The fishing was much better this time around than my 8 day October trip.
Talk to you guys soon.
Best regards,
Paul
