Has anybody been up to Huntington Res. recently? Friends told me there was a foot of slush under the snow. This might help me narrow my options a little...

Welcome to the site . Otter Creek might be a better choice for you to fish and wont be as crowded as some waters closer to Salt Lake . There is a report on here some where . Nice work on the watercolors and oils , have you ever done any fish ?

if your going to be going ice fishing this weekend expect to have slush on most all the lakes that got heavy snow on them..
i have not heard anything about a foot of slush on huntington tho? there might be 2 or 3 inches of slush on there tho..
slush can change from day to day. if the clouds move out and there is not to much snow on it, it could freeze the slush in one night. but if the clouds hang around and there is a lot of snow on top the slush could take days for the slush to re-freez.
just the way ice fishing is!
if your headed down huntington way then you might want to try E-lake rather than huntington.. some times it's not as slushy..
