I crossed the bay straight across from the marina on an ATV on sunday, but I didn't go anywhere near Haws. I took a right after I got across and fished back in the bay. You can safely get across from the marina, but be very careful when going around haws point, in years past there has been some bad spots right at the opening to renegade.

Rob, there was 10 inches of ice at the Marina on sunday. I saw sleds and atv's all over.
