Anyone else volunteering in the youth fishing program in Orem? Just wondering if anyone has had experience with it before.

This will be my 5th ( maybe 6th) year of helping out with the DWR Youth Fishing Program and each year has been a blast. Drew works with Mark Lindsay of the Orem Rec Center staff in getting youth recruits and we'll be more than happy to work with you as one of the volunteers. Are you officially signed up with Drew as a volunteer for the Orem area?

I don't have any experience with it but signed up to help. I also signed my boy up for the class.

I let him know that I was interested and I will be at the meeting on the 29th. (I am having surguring on my sinuses the friday before, but I will be there regardless--probably make the meeting funner if I am in a narcotic induced stupor).

It's great to hear that a number of BFT'ers in the Orem area will be volunteers for the Youth Fishing club this year. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys at the orientation meeting on the Jan. 29 at the Orem Fitness Center at 6:00 pm.
