Decided to try the afternoon bite today at Linden and I was not dissapointed. There were about six guys fishing next to the docks when I got there but I had talked to a guy the other day that said he was catching fish more out in the middle so that is where I set up. I had to move a couple of times before I really found them but when I did the action was fairly steady. The whities varried in size from 13.5" down to about 3.5" and all were taken on a little green rat finkie. I also managed one 5" perch.
The ice was a good 10-12" thick with maybe an inch of snow on top. It looked like the entire lake was capped but i didn't venture out to see how thick it was outside of the harbor.
