There have been several reports from Strawberry lately... You may want to go back and read a few.
My advice would be to park at the Strawberry Bay marina, and just try and get away from the crowds. If you have a snowmobile, that shouldn't be a problem. If not, then try walking West toward the camp grounds. Find 35' of water and give it a go. Early in the morning the fish seem to be more shallow.... I have caught them in as little as 8' of water... so if you get there real early, try shallow 1st, and then move deeper if/when the bite slows down.
Sonar has been a huge key at the Berry this year. There seems to be a lot of fish running at mid depth. If you have sonar, pay really close attention and when you see those fish roll in at different depths, reel up to them. If you do not have sonar, I recommend getting a 2 pole permit (if you don't already have one) and have one rod a few cranks off the bottom and one at mid depth.
As far as baits go... Normal stuff. 3" tubes in white, pearl, and glow will all produce. I also like paddle bugs and Ice-Cutrs in the same colors. If things are slow, experiment a little. Chartreuse (sp?) can also be a hot color. I normally tip my jigs with either meal worms or red sided shiner minnows. Both can be purchased at the Sinclair in Heber. I have never done very well with waxies up there, but I always bring some along in case I need to experiment.
I hope this helps. Let us know how it goes. []
