I am heading out to pineview sat this will be the first time I have ever Ice fished it. and I am taking a buddy who has never ice fished. any help on what to use or where to use it would be great thanks Joe.

my experience this year is that you will catch more fish at cemetary point but you will catch bigger fish in the narrows... either way my suggestion is to use white/pink ratsos tipped with a wax worm or perch meat... put a splitshot sinker about eight inches above the fly... good luck

If you have an FRS 2 way radio, take it and monitor channel 7-0. You may be able to ask other people fishing Pineview,
questions and get pointers, while you are on the ice.

what is a ratso? I tried to find it on cabelas and bass pro shops sites but they don't have anything with that name.

the other thing that worked real well is called a shrimp or shrimpie and it looks just like a ratso except it is a little bent and the eyelet comes out the top instead of the side.. you can get both of them from sportsmans..
