When I was at the fishing expo today, I was chatting with the Evinrude guy about the E-Tech's. A sweet motor I might add. He mentioned that you don't do ANY maintenence on the motor for 3 years! 3 YEARS! No changing the foot oil or nothing. I asked him about that, because I normally change my foot oil atleast twice a year under heavy use. He said there is some type of new age oil out that doesn't go bad for years. You guys hear of any stuff like that?

i have heard of the E-tech's 3 year no maintance on the motor.but i am leary of the lower end oil.one reason is water freezeing and poping the lowaer end cover
