I went there on saturday and caught 1 rainbow in 6 hours. It has slowed way down.

I went to scofield on Sunday (1-21-07) and caught six fish in six hours in the morning. If I didn't have a fish finder with real time to see the fish come up out of the weeds, I wouldn't have caught anything. My buddy with no finder caught nothing.

Had to be in shallow water to find any fish. 13-17 feet is where I finally found some rainbows.

Real nice day but slow fishing.

[cool]It usually does this time of year, unfortunitely. Scofield is good for ice fishing from ice on (usually late November) through December, then it sucks until ice off and Strawberry is way better for the remainder of the ice season...

I've always done well with rat finkies or small ice flies tipped with some meat (worm or waxie). Whatever you use it has to be small. Go with a variety of colors and find out what the color of the day is. I was out there two Saturdays ago and did quite well.
