my brother and i took the snowmobile out and fished the berry. we iced over 40 cutts, but nothing over about 22 inches. we caught lots of fish in the 18 inch range. i was pretty impressed with the maniac ice cut'rs. i bought a bunch because sportsmans was out of white paddlebugs. i ordered more colors from maniacs website and look forward to trying them again. the bites were very light at times, and very violent at other times. deadsticking seemed to be more consistent than any kind of jigging motion. both shiner chunks and mealworms worked well for us. the ice was a solid 11 inches where we fished.

Thanks for the report. I'm ordering some Cut'rs in the morning and am looking forward to putting them to the test.

Thanks for the report. I've used the ice cut'rs this season, and have done well with them. I ordered them directly from maniac, and their service was prompt! Highly recommended.

Where on the ice and how deep of water were you fishing? I want to go out on sunday, but have had slow fishing up there lately.

It sounds like a good day on the Berry, I need to get back up there!
I'm glad you guys like the lures,What size of jig head did you use on those Ice Cut'rs?

the lures are great! we have been using mostly 1/16 oz round head glow jigs with them. we also tried some 1/8 oz, but i think the lighter 1/16 helps the cut'r drop slower and entices fish to bite. we definately prefer the 1/16 oz. (especially since we use ultra light ice poles) i may even try something smaller sometime, but not too small.
as far as depth goes, we've had best luck in around 30 feet of water. we've done okay at times in 20 ft, but 30 has been best. we went today again, around strawberry bay area again, and it was really slow for us. we moved a lot and could not seem to find good numbers of fish. we managed 22 between 3 of us, but they came hard today!
