Hi everyone just wanted to say hi.

I am craving for a fish dinner but I have been skunk the last couple of times I went out. I have been to Mantua and Hyrum and got skunk, any advice where I can go and catch me some dinner?

Welcome Panfish. I would suggest Pineview for some crappie or perch. Fish around 45-53' of water with small jigs tipped with mealie or waxie.

Thanx, I am not very familiar with the lake so is any where on there a good spot?

[cool]Lots of great spots on that lake. Just go find those depths that theekillerbee was talking about and you'll get into the perch. Got a fishfinder? THAT is pretty critical if you are looking for the panfish on that lake. Just look down this first page here in the general discussion board, and also look at the one before that, and the one before that, etc., and you'll see a dozen or two reports from the past few weeks on Pineview (and other fishing hotspots right now). Another good bet for yellow perch is Jordanell right now. Good luck!

[#4040ff]Well, maybe not. You should try to invite yourself along with some of the regulars and learn the different waters better. Sometimes it is only a couple of minor things...like area and depth...that can make a world of difference. Of course choice of lures and baits can be important too.[/#4040ff]
