[font "Arial"][size 2]I am from SLC and coming up to visit the in-laws. I have taken the boat up in the summer and boated a reservoir they call Laurie some call it Buck tail. Can anyone tell me how the ice fishing is (I believe it has trout and perch)? Or would I be better going somewhere else. Also how is the fishing- if anyone has been.

I'm guessing you are talking about Blacktail. Blacktail is the boat ramp found on the SW end of Ririe Reservoir. The road to Blacktail isn't plowed during the winter and there is even restrictions to snowmachines in that area because of wintering elk and deer. The winter fishing at Ririe Reservoir is limited to ice fishing only within a mile of the dam. There have been a number of reports posted about Ririe. Some have done well and others have not.
