Hit the Berry today. got there about 8am. Real slow the first hour, then we got into them good for a while. Then it died, then it picked up. It was really off an on. We ended up with around 20 fish. Caught some really nice fish. A few over the slot. Used white whatta crickets with minnow or worms and some smelly jelly. Most were off the bottom. But sometimes would catch some suspended if the fish were chasing a group of minnows. No wind at all, and pure sunshine. Had a great trip. Mostly fished in 32ft of water. Picked up a two pole permit and had two fish on at the same time a couple of times. Or at least they were playing with both. It really made me realize that you cannot put your pole down at Strawberry. You need to feel the bite and set the hook. A great trip.
