Went to pineview this morning, north of cemetary point. Fishing
was well, no fish. I could'nt mark them on the fish finder to save
my life. Fished for about 3 hours and bagged it. Everyone i talked to had about the same luck.People were pouring in there by the
truckload when i left. Heading to strawberry and maybe pineview
tomorrow. Anyone else heading that way?

My son and I was also at the View in the same area that you discribed. We had my Black and White Springer with us.
We moved around and fished in water that was from 15' deep to 45' deep.
We finally found Perch in 25' of water.
The highlight of the day was when my son iced his first Tiger Muskey. It was 28" long and full of teeth.
We have a picture of the Tiger on my son's camera phone, but we can't seem to get it downloaded to the computer.
Our goal was to catch enough Perch for some of Pat's Pig Out Perch Chowder and I just got called to the dinner table.
It sure smells great!

Thanks for the welcome. It's good to see someone had some success at the 'view. We'll see how it goes at strawberry
tomorrow. I think i'll take the wheeler so i can move aroung easier.
Do you know where the best place would be to get on the lake with the wheeler without burying it in the snow?

Strawberry Marina. From there, you can go for miles in any direction.
I don't think you have to pay to park there this year.
Who knows for sure?

We too didn't fare well at Pineview either. Fished the same location as last week (20 perch), but only 2 this week. Some folks were catching a few more in 25' water, but they were mostly too small for my liking, so I didn't move there.
I sense the fish are moving into semi-hybernation, and it may not be fast again this season. Anyone have any thoughts on that??

I think the fish are seeing a ton of pressure right now, so they are moving around. Location is the big key up there. If you find em, they'll usually cooperate alright. [
