Hit Rock Cliffs Saturday about 1pm. I couldnt talk myself into getting out of bed sooner, lol. Ran into Mike/MGB just before we left the parking lot and he reported doing ok.
Perch wanted to play here and there and just about every Bow that pasted under the Sonar got hooked and released.
We took a couple perch home that were pushing 11 inches but no toads.

Sunday morning we crossed the damn at PV about 8.30am. Yep, a late start again. The Perch were willing to play for us so the shanty stayed put untill around 1pm when we moved deeper. Got right back into perch to 11" and called it a day about 5pm. No Crappers for us.

[cool]Nice report, Don. How many perch would you guess you iced at PV, and were you in the narrows or Cemetary Point?

It was good to see you and 3M Saturday. I fished Pineview Sunday also. Started fishing at 1:00pm and got into the perch right from the start for a couple hours then it slowed down. Pineview has been doing good for pan fishing these last couple years.

I got a report from a buddy that fished the Rock Cliffs area of Jordanelle on Sunday. He was targeting trout and that was all he caught.... 12 of them! No bass or perch in the mix (He has no interest in them!). Largest fish was a 25 inch brown. I believe all or at least most were caught on 1.5-2 inch white tubes fished as deep as 50-60 feet. I recall him mentioning 8 inches of ice. I think he fished the area out past where the bouy line would be, but definitely nowhere close to the skim ice on the main lake body.
