I have a Bucks Bags 7 footer. Ever since I got an electirc motor, I never touch my oars. I recommend getting a motor from the get go. I love my Bucks Bags but I hate dealing with the company. Their customer service was terrible. On a lighter note, a 28 thrust Minkota has plenty of power for anything I need. Don't forget to register your boat if you put a motor on it.
