Many of you know that we have a 16 species contest every year now. Many times the Capts and Pro Guides don't bother to enter because of the major advantage that they may have over the rest of the anglers out there.
We are proposing a separate contest for all licenced Guides and Charter Skippers out there. You will compete against other Skippers and Guides.
Please answer this post if you are interested in joining this distinct category.
The rules for this will be discussed with the admins and judges of the contest and will be posted on the Contest board.

Hey there tkishkape! To answer your question, yes, catfish will be allowed. Any fish reconized by the IGFA as a gamefish counts. Be sure to specify what species of catfish it is: I.E. Blue, channel, flathead, yellow, bullhead, etc....
We are trying to make sure there are enough freshwater charter captains willing to enter the contest before we have a freshwater catagory. If you know anyone that meets the criteria and would be interested in the contest, make sure and tell them to respond to this post!

As far as sign ups go, we will get started on the Freshwater contest for Charters and Licensed guides as soon as we have a couple more participants.
We are going to note your interest at this point in time an search for a couple more people so that we can set a start date.
As far as the picture size goes, it would be up to your software to do a re-size. Do you have Photo Shop?? Or perhaps the software that came with your camera.
The general size for the Avatar should be 100 x 100 pixels.
The general requirements for the pictures in the post should be at 300 x 400 pixels. 450 pixels on the width should be the maximum size in any extreme case.
Please feel free to post any fishing reports that you may have.

Yeah. Pretty much the same rules. We can take a vote as to the lenght of the contest since some may be weather delayed. After the weather delays, most should be game for the rest of year.[cool]
