I have fished up there twice this winter with good success. I used a green and glow ice fly tipped with a mealworm. The bit is extremely light. A wax worm may work better so that the perch cant nibble it away. I had success in water 16-18 feet deep just off the boat ramp. Be prepared for the light bit. Good luck

Cowboy_43 is right about the light bite. If you haven't done so already, purchase one of those 'bobber' strike indicators. It will make all the difference in the world.

good luck...

On occasion the fish can be hard to locate up there. Move around until you get a consistant bite. I have always had better results with a waxie rather than meal worms. Good luck! [Smile]
