Oh no you didn't. LOL

Mike is depriving our BFT members of his true fishing strategies. It's OK Mike, We know the truth! [cool]

What you don't know won't hurt you. I was just checking the weather, tides, majors/minors, Sun and Moooooon phase.[cool]

LMAOF, I was fishing in better company that day, so while I was battling the beast everyone respected my vulnarability.[Tongue]

P.S. It also helps when your not wearing shorts[Wink]

[black][size 3]Those perhistoric fish are sooo coool. Where I grew up (Glenn's Ferry Idaho) they were and still are, all over in the Snake.[/size][/black]
[black][size 3]I have a slide of my grandfather (6'3") standing next to a 7' Sturgeon he had landed.[/size][/black]
[black][size 3]I always thought, I am gonna get one of those. I realize I would have to switch toa SSSSPPPPPIIIINNNIIINNNGGG outfit, but for them I would![cool]. The law in Idaho however is, do not take them out of the water and release unharmed. I believe a tag or stamp is also required.[/size][/black]

We catch those big boys on the Snake just a few miles up river from Lewiston. Some have been caught so many times we give them names. [Smile] One of the great thrills was watching my young nieces from NJ take turn fighting a nine footer last summer. Eyes as big as saucers!

There is another option to the SP....Sp.....Sp.....you know the other type?

You can try a conventional reel. They will hold a lot more line than a sp....sp.....sp....the other type of reels.[cool]

Idahoman welcome!

That had to be a blast to see, that is a monster fish!

The really great think about fishing them in Idaho is they are all catch and release and just keep getting bigger, gotta love that!!!
