Went over by dam/dike late this afternoon to see if I could get bit of fishing in, but didn't get on. The edges were open and would have needed quite a long plank. Noted that they had shut outlet last week, likely in anticipation of a slow flow this spring, and was barely warm enough to freeze last night. So until things change, think carefully about a trip to Hyrum. Personally,I quit when a plank or waders are needed to get to good ice. Time to wait for a good thaw and get the fly rod out.

Thanks for the post, Chuck. The way things are going with this weather, there will be open water in no time. I'm afraid the drought is upon us (again).
