[cool]Anybody fished Mantua in the past week or so? I'm going after some tasty panfish somewhere this weekend and was just wondering if anyone has been there lately. Also thinking about Rock Cliffs for perch...

Fished Monday on the SE end. Walked all over the place. Could never find a concentration. Did manage a few dink perch, 3 bass and a trout.
Saturday the 10th, KUTV and a bunch of vendors will be at Mantua.

hey Geoffrey,
I was out there for a couple hrs. last sunday before the game, and yes the bite was slow. My 10 yr. old caught a couple nice 'Bows and a huge 'Gill in the short time we were there, and of course, I naturally got skunked since I was with him!
They were the most colorful 'Bows I've seen in many years. No fins clipped or anything so I don't think they were planters.
There weren't many people there...I think when we left, there were only 4 or 5 others on the entire pond.

[cool]Thanks for the updates, guys. Doesn't sound that promising, but I would probably head to other areas of the lake if I was going there rather than "out from the boat ramp" or the S.E. corner of the lake. However, now that I've been informed of that Reice Stein's Outdoors shindig going down there Saturday, I'm DEFINITELY not going there. I guess it's Pineview or Rock Cliffs...Speaking of Jordanelle, anybody fish the Hailstone area lately???
