I'll give the condensed version since his camera was working and mine wasn't.

We started the day of with a phone call at around 5 something in the morning as to "Where the hell do I go from here"?.

With a few missed turns and a few missguided directions, Pokymon made the rondevouse point in Corona Ca at the Mickey Dees.

We started the rest of the day off with some hot java and a Sausage McMuffin. Went over the game plan and headed to the lake.

It was my first time to this lake so I really benefitted from the directions that Pokymon had on him. My GPS was down so that was the best excuse that I could come up with.

We got to the lake around 7omething, rigged up, downloaded and ............there was too much rain for the tubes so we decided to bank it. (its much easier on the downloads too)

After a gazillion casts and a few hours of leaving some babysit baits out there(no live bait OK?) all we could come up with were a few small sticks, some hungry rocks and a mild buzz from the beer.

We had a good time though. It seemed like we were old fishing buddies. Well at least I know how old I am and he told me how old he is.........We are "Old" fishing buddies when we add our ages together.

After me telling him how good TubeDude is(he concurred) and he told me how good Flygoddess is (I told him that I think I concur) we decided that instead of arguing about it and possibly destroying a new friendship, we would plan a little contest between the 2 of them and Pokymon will leave the spuds behind and I will continue to avoid the steers and queers in SoCal, and we will both go to UT to judge the contest.

We will pick a "Soft water" season so don't worry about hitting a 6" hole in the ice from 60 paces.

Back to the report.

The sun finally came out for 5 minutes and then clouded right back up. We took the skunk for the day but didn't take the new friendship for granted.

Somehow Pokymon made it back to his destination in Indio and I managed to find my house about 90 miles away from the lake.[cool]

[black][size 3]I like the report, and now he can quit teasing me and Evil Ash about last weekend. He was in the pontoon on the water and landed one, EA and myself were on shore and "0". I was throwing my best out, but I think they were hiding under the patch of ice floating out in the middle. At least that is our story and we are sticking to it.[laugh][/size][/black]

Pokymon is a good guy. He also spoke very highly of you and your hubby. I'm sure that I would invite him back to fish one of my regular playgrounds in the future. Maybe you and EA could accompany him on the next time around.[]

We went to Corona Lake. They haven't done no new pets in there for a couple of months. They are planning to put in @20,000lbs over the next 3 weeks.

I would have preferred the Pacific Lake cuz I know zactly where they lant them there.

It is easier to beat a fish on it's own terms than trying to beat a fish that has already been beat up in a swimming pool.

Well, I know Pokey-mon wanted to show off his new boat but due to lack of space he couldn't bring it, so I found a picture of him on it so you can see just what he usually uses:

I'm back And you guys can make fun of my boats and stuff but they work. it was great meeting steve and traffic in cal sucks the big cookie and i'm not giving anybody a ride in my boats.I had a great vacation fishing & golfing and visiting with steve traffic sucks though. It was hard leaving 80+ weather but i'll be back and when I do come back i"ll let steve know so he can hide the fish again. I think i'll go stealheadin this week so get jealous Joan. Did I mention traffic sucks. I also poted pics. on the flyfishing section I even used a SPINNING REEL>>>>>>> not so hard to say
