Hey Ice sled how about giving us a report on the Evanston derby. How the fishing was? Did you win any money fish? How was the weather? The temp's? Pikeman GO FISH

Fishing was a little slow for my wife and I. We caught about 20 fish during the whole derby. All about 12-14 inches. We didn't win any money this year, but had a good time. The weather was warm, about forty in the afternoon But the fishing was pretty slow. All the fish we caught was on a Pink Cut'r Bug tipped with a crawler. It took a 17" fish to get in the money. I think a Twenty one and one half inch trout was the biggest. I didn't see or hear of any eyes that were caught. The ice was 18-21 inches thick. The crowd was a little more spread out this year. People were fishing all over the lake. Everyone was very nice to us and all were having a great time. We'll be back next year!

i to fished the derby,along with mac man,skip the lurker his young son jason,mac mans brother and sister inlaw. fishing was not red hot but that is to be fig with 10000 peps on the ice we managed to catch quite a few but not any payers.every one was great and the drunks that i had heard about failed to materilise.we had some young guys ,off to are left having a goood time. but that is to be expected.i to was 22 wonce.allll in all a great run tourney,lots of help to get you on and of the ice. weather was fantatic. amd all the money goes to some great charities.that was my first tourney at sulpur creek and am very impessed with the way that it is run. after hearing some of the horrr stories before i went i didnt know what to expect. i would highly recomd this tournment to any one. unles you have a very thin skin.
