My brother and I have been nailing the Corvina up to 13 lbs. With better than a fish an hour in float tubes
throwing plastics and spoons on 8 lb test. The East side: State headquarters, Mecca Beach, Salt Creek,
and Bomb Bay producing for us. I hear the west side is going as well. We have made three trips in the last week. Some tips Sharp hooks and and a good hook set is a must the Corvina have hard mouths.

Good Luck
Fundad

Thanks We just got back and nailed 4 more in 3 hours fishing
including a 14 pounder my son landed and a 12 pound brute
my brother landed. My son's Corvina came out of the water
three times including a breath taking attempt to throw the hook as the huge Corvina caught air not 10 feet from his
tube. I want to encourage anglers to try the Salton Sea it's loaded with big fish. Also float tubing puts you eye to eye
with the fish. No net just grab the 36 inch plus fish by the
gill and throw him on the stringer at eye level. OH YEAH!!
And all on 8 lb test. The ultiamate sportsmans fishing.
Float tubes and the Salton Sea Rocks.

Tip Try throwing or jiging castmasters or Hopkins spoons
in the morning. 1/2 oz to 1 oz works good.

Good Luck
Fundad
