[#ff0000]Camped out up Blacksmiths Fork Friday and Saturday. Got a 1/4 inch of snow over night. Fished the public ground from Rock Creek down to the power plant impoundment. Everyone must be getting that Spring fishing fever as there were more anglers up there than I usually see over the 4th of July weekend - I counted twelve Saturday afternoon. Fish were fairly active but small, 9 - 10 inches and close to shore in the impoundment. To small to fry; turned them all back for another day. I took my fly rod up but used mostly spinning gear. Had them take mepps, panther martins, and even a dare devil. Every one else I saw was using a fly rod and the folks I talked to were having about the same luck as I was. Beautiful weekend to be on the water. [/#ff0000]

Hey NOS, did you get a chance to try out the left-hand fork of the blacksmiths?
