] Hit up the Weber river on the walk-in-access property up in Coalville this afternoon. The water condition was low and just a tad murky but mostly clear. This is the first time I have been up that way and it is a great stretch of river. We ended up landing about 10 browns between two of us and countless fish that pulled off the bite and roll trick. The avaerage size of the browns we caught was about 16 inches. Had a great time and couldn't ask for a better day.
Check out the pics.

Nice fish Matt, I've never fished the weber before, it was always the upper provo, but Jordanelle screwed that for me.

I had to redeem myself after that ridiculous display at Willard. I don't know what my problem is but every time I go to Willard it turns out to be some little curse and everything goes wrong.

looks good, hey can anyone give me the directions to that section of the river where the walk on property is located. I know it's coalville but where exactly, I was hoping to get out on the river this afternoon and looked on the DWR's sight for the directions, but it was down or something cause is wouldn't let me on. so any information you could get me for this afternoon would be great thanks!

I headed up to that same section this afternoon with my dad and we both caught two whites about sixteen inches on green cadis nymph and my dad caught a cutthroat. It was a pretty good day, but I could find the browns. What were you getting them on?

I was throwing a F7 floating rapala, white and black. My brother in law used a bright orange J-13 rapala (Don't ask). My brother in law likes to throw those huge rapalas in the Weber, i try not to laugh but it is kind of ridiculous. Believe it or not he did have some really nice browns follow, but for the most part I think he scared them all away. I rarely even use something that big for musky. Oh well, more fish for Hookjaw.

You say that now but wait until a brown like mine eats that huge balsa broken back! Mine was 32" and took a j-13 firetiger.[

Yeah, I'm just waiting for that to happen. Did you land that one on the weber?
