I fianlly made it up to Steelhead again after missing the fall run last year. We fished from almost Middle Fork clear up stream to the Pasimori. The water is running muddy and most of the fish coming out were from the Lemhi to Pasimori. I had a smaller one on and lost it about 10 feet from the bank. It almost made me cry[]. Other then that my buddies had a couple of suckers and nothing else. We went to the hatchery and looked over all the fish that made the gauntlet and gazed in amazement at the beautiful fish, man that is cool.

Too bad about the muddy water. We hit it perfect when we fished it 4 years ago. Those fish in the hatchery make you humble don't they?[]

4 years is a long time it must not have hooked you.

Not that at all. I had a new baby just after that and another since. I can't get away like that for another couple years. Soon the whole family will be able to go on trips like that and the fun will start again.[cool]
