[#0000ff]1. We want contests that do not require entry fees. Gotta be open and available to everybody.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]2. Same for fishing. Gotta be something that can be entered by boaters, bankers, tubers and tooners.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]3. Same for tackle. Should not be restrictive to one kind or another...except maybe if we have a carp-shootin' shindig.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]4. Prizes: We do not have access to large quantities of extra cash laying around for prizes. That limits what we can do in terms of guided trips or new boats or whatever. BFt can and will put up stuff from the company store. Us mods (or other BFTers) might also contribute something personal...like a tagalong trip somewhere. I'd be happy to put up a "hook and cook" session for a couple of winners. I will also be happy to put together some "sample packs" of different kinds of jigs, spinners, spoons or whatever. Might even be coerced into doing a custom wrap job on a rod or two...providing winners buy their materials.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]These contests are going to be for the benefit of everyone, if we do it right. Anytime we have get togethers or contests it helps us all get to know each other better and to share what we have with those that need it...educationally or materially.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]NOW...I will also ask for volunteers to help oversee and judge each of the contests as we have them...like we do for the ice fishing challenge. So, if you come up with a winning idea, be prepared to get tagged with running it. No obligation, but the opportunity will be offered.[/#0000ff]
