I maybe going fishing on friday has anyone fished Holmes Creek lately if so how is the fishing and is the ice off I can't decide wher I might want to go.

Still has about 8in of ice[sly].......just kidding. Ive caught a couple rainbows out there but thats about it. The bass should start hitting pretty soon but the hard part is getting to them. If you just want to catch some fish then just throw a bobber and worm out there and you will have a bow in no time because they stock those. I have a friend that just recently caught a 20in walleye out of there but I think those are few and far between. Hope this helps.
