THANKS TO WATCHING A GUY WITH AN INBOARD AND HIS BUDDIES WADING IN TO PUSH THE BOAT OUT OF THE MUD..WE HEADED OUT TO THE WEST DIKE WHERE WE FOUND THE DEEPEST WATER, ABOUT 11-14'. THE WATER WAS 56-60 DEG. WE TROLLED ABOUT 2.1 MPH FOR MOST OF THE DAY. STAYING ALONG THE DIKE ALL THE WAY AROUND WILLARD. WE USED SIDEPLANERS AND RATTLE TRAPS(LIPLESS) IN SILVER OR BRIGHT COLORS.. ONLY CAUGHT 1 WIPER JUST WEST OF THE ISLAND AND THE SOUTH MARINA.. GREAT DAY WITH MY WIFE.[/size][/#ff0000][/font]

Thanks for the report . I think I saw you pass by and I waved . I hooked up on 2 and lost them both . Deepest water out there is 17' if you know where to find it . I fished mainly the east side . Water has come up about foot since my last march trip .

My boat is cream and brown and it says FISHHAWK on it . My son showed up and was on my boat later in the afternoon . I seen a newer Fisher boat out on the water and thought it was you .

I was also there on Sat. We launched at about 8:00 from the south marina and headed for the west dike over by the light pole. My brother in law picked up 2 wipers and about a 5lb channel cat. only 1 small channnel for me. we were trolling between 2.5 and 3.1 only stayed till noon. I did see Preditor over by the south marina he said he had picked up 6 or 7 in the hour he had been there.
