Fishing Forum

I did not make it to deer creek as I supposed I would last friday. I wished I would have, as we fished monday between two storms and the fish were put off! I took the BIL and kids out to Utah Lake on monday. We fished the weedline just north of the ramp with little success catching only one bullhead. Alex the 5 year old who caught the fish on his new pole was very excited!

After a couple hours there we moved further north and my other neice and nephew each caught a white bass (with a little help) The kids were pumped! They went fishing and each caught a fish, what more could they ask! The fishing was quite slow for me and the BIL but what a great day to get out and onto the water, and take some kids fishing!

Good on you! At the end of the day that is what it really comes down to when you talk fishing. Sounds like every one had a great time. Teach a kid to fish and keep em' out of trouble.

Sorry the weather didn't cooperate too much but glad you had a great time with the kids. I love it when they catch fish and their face lights up.
