We were a little wether we should try to go out on the local pond this morning with it being Friday the 13th, but after a long deliberation we decided to take a chance. The fishing was alright with air temps in to low 40's and water temps around 43. I managed to get three in the boat but my partner no matter how hard we tried got the smell of skunk on him, although the fish tried to cooperate with him he just could not manage. Oh well there is always tommorow.

Although last time I tried this I did not like the outcome but I have learned a few things so I guess I will try again so here is some pics.

No I can't get Claude to go with me. I spent this morning out with the same friend from yesterday. I was skunked but I tried once again extremely hard to get him a fish on the end of his line, but it wasn't to be. Once again though the fish did everything but jump in the boat for him. Buck maybe next time the stars will be aligned, and the gods will look down on you and you can sweat talk one of those macks to stay on the end of you line. LOL!!!
