Tanner, his uncle Terry, and I spent Sat. afternoon at Lindon. We launched the old boat about noon and headed for the bubble up. Didn't see much on the fish finder, so we went to our channel cat honey hole. A few fish around on the fish finder, so we dropped anchor and started fishing. We picked up 3 good sized bullheads, and one med. sized White Bass. Many years ago, An old mailman from A.F. ,Elgin Lee, took me cat fishing around Lindon and A.F. He used to catch suckers, and fillet them and cut them into small square pieces and mixed Oil of Anise, and Codliver oil, and freeze them until time to go fishing. Well last week I caught a White Bass and tried the same mixture. I knew I had the secret weapon! Terry and Tanner was using our old tried and true worms and shrimp. I only caught one small bullhead, and a lot of ribbing. Finally, I gave up and went to the worm and shrimp combo. All together, we picked up half a dozen bullheads, but no channel kittys. I used my second pole permit and threw plastic all afternoon with no luck. I guess I need lesons.

I don't think lessons are needed just yet. Maybe a few days (week or so) of good weather will settle the lake down again. At least you didn't get skunked.....My truck still smells from the 3 of us getting skunked. But it was still a fun day.
