I will be traveling to mesquite next week and would like to get in some fishing I thought about hitting lake mead but I will be shore fishing. any help would be great thanks

Not a lot of input on this but in St. George they have sevral community ponds. They have one at the Snow Canyon turn off and on up on the cliff next to the Vetranary clinic. They stock them well and you can get your fix catching bass, trout, blue gill and sunfish.

St. George actually has a lot of excellent fishing. Just off the Hurricane exit you have Quail Res. and Sand Hollow. Both have bass fishing that has just recently turned on. At Quail you can also catch rainbows all day with powerbait down by the dam. I live in St. George but I am going to Powell tomorrow until Sunday, I'll try and update you next week on what to bring and where to go.
