[cool][#0000ff]Got a second hand report yesterday on Scofield conditions.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Ice is off but the lake has "turned over" and is yucky colored. This happens every year and the fishing is usually not as good until water chemistry stabilizes.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]The guys who went yesterday did catch a few fish but it was slow and the weather blew them off before they got to fish very long. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]The fishing has been great, before the ice came off and the wind blew too much. It should be good again within a couple of weeks.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]Welllllllllllllll...yeah, maybe. About the time Mama Nature gets back on her meds, and settles down, there will be so many places to go that it is going to be tough to decide which direction to point my tube.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]From the intel I get from both anglers and DWR folks, Scofield is full of hungry fish and they are all healthy. That new 8 fish limit should see the banks crowded with harvesters but the fly flingers, tubers, tooners and boaters should have plenty of action.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]One of the big draws this year will be the healthy population of tiger trout. They have done well and grown fast. Might be some 20 inchers coming out soon.[/#0000ff]
