Went to the Web. again yesterday for an afternoon of fishun. Finally took the camera and took a few pics. Didn't catch anything over 17 in. this time but had fun. Ever try to take pics with a digital while fishin and the camera having problems staying on???
Anyway, it was a very memorable day. I saw the two biggest browns that I think I've ever observed on wild waters. When I got home I brought out the yard stick to try to reconstruct how big they were. My best guess is about 27-28 inches with the second one about 1-2 inches shorter. WOW,WOW,WOW.![[Image: icon_eek.gif]](http://www.wildlife.utah.gov/forums/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif)
Some kind of hatch was going on and there was a long swath of buggs floating down the middle. There were at least a dozen trout feeding on em with these guys with big, big, white mouths just tailing along letting the bugs flow in. I proceeded to try to get in a position to cast for em without scaring em and wouldn't ya no, Sparky got tangeled up in my fly line while I was try to navigate down a steep slope. Ended up with broken fly line, had to retie, all the time all thumbs with the biggest browns of my life tailing out about 30 ft. Finally got er done and cast out. Oh #@**, a 16 inch guy took it. Landed him but of course the rest of em were spooked and gone. That 16 in. guy looked like a minnow in comparison.
