[cool][#0000ff]This is the time for some of the best tubing of the year. The ice is just about all gone, but water temps are keeping the fish close to shore, chasing minnows and looking for crawdads.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Fish almost anywhere you can launch and kick out a ways. Cast back in towards shore with large buggers...white, black, brown or purple. Either swim them or twitch them close to the bottom. The big fish are looking for big mouthfuls right now. Later on they will get tougher, as the midge hatch comes on and they glut on the small stuff.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]By the way, welcome aboard. What kind of craft do you fish from? Wanna post some pictures of how you have it set up?[/#0000ff]

I fish a 7ft pontoon standard equipment, fish finder fly pole and a . I will try to get some pics this weekend. Almost bought a new toon today just a few minutes to late Cabela,s had a great price on a 9ft fishguide a few scratches just to late. I'm sure it's for the best the the fishguide is pretty high out of the water and wind may have been a real problem. Not to great with computer so pics and stuff maybe slow coming. Thanks and glad to be onboard.

What TD said is good advice and NOW is the best time for tubing and the berry. I'll add the ice is all gone now at least on the west side of the lake where I was. This time of year I like black, bronw and olive wollies behind a casting bubble. In a couple of weeks it will be tryin out the midge pattern and see what I can do with them behind that same bubble. Please forgive me FB2. I can't find my fly reel.
