Fishing Forum

Took the new boat out Saturday for it's maiden voyage. Headed to Scofield and trolled the East side for about 2 1/2 hours. My youngest daughter picked up two small (10"?) rainbows during that time. Trolling wasn't working so we went out to the island and dropped anchor and fished with power bait for a a while. No luck so we gave up and went home. We were at the lake for 5 hours. It was an absolutley gorgeous day up there. The kids had fun. As they say...the fishing was great but the catching wasn't so great!

Might have saw you Saturday. I was in the LONG yellow pontoon, pretty close to the island. Fishing was slow Saturday, at least out on the lake. I did killer throwing flies out to the risers by the dam from shore.
