Hit the view this evening from 4 till dark. Tried the Spring Creek area and the Middle Inlet. Brush is flooded everywhere, but no crappie were to be found, except one loner. Does anyone know what the water temp is and can anyone confirm if the crappie have come in shallow yet? Maybe the cold spell pushed all the fish deeper. I don't know.
Thanks,
Justin

The crappies are still there but in uncommon places. They are in the flooded brush in the center of the lake near the island and in spring creek on the se side in the grass.[cool]

I think they moved out deeper. I tried all those areas you mentioned. The brush in the middle and the grass in the corner. I guess that's why it's called fishing.

I hit pineview last Sun from the shore by cemetary point and caught 10-15 crappie. They were just a little deeper than usual, and tight to the weeds.

Cant complain too much, you still got to kick around the lake and watch the swarms of carp. Fun fun
