Got to be a rush to be trying to aim a bow with the carp flying over the boat at the same time. I was impressed with the combination of archery and fishing, by using a fishing reel to retrieve the line. Any idea what they use to make some of those arrows glow so much in the dark?

I bought a couple of fishing arrows at Sportsman's that glow in the dark. I didn't get them for that reason, but they work well.

Sounds like something much more suited to a shotgun to me. Just like duck hunting when you jump shoot ducks! [cool]

Now that would be fun! Even a .22 would be fun except the danger in bullet trajectory.

The way they make the arrow glow is by using a Lumenok. It's basically a battery powered light in the nock of the arrow. They use them a lot when they are taking video of hunts so they can see the arrow trajectory.
